Trade Furniture Drawer

Antique drawer of a solid wood pharmacy craft that can be used as a storage box.

Trade drawer ideal for storing documents such as labels or to be diverted to a wall shelf. Perfect for setting up a small cabinet of curiosities with small elements.

Old handcrafted with turned wooden pull knob.

Good structural condition, beautiful rough patina for use.

Found in the cellars of a pharmacy in Paris, which served as a laboratory and storage space for pharmacists to prepare their magistral preparations from 1900 to 1950.

Originally, it was supposed to be part of a storage cabinet or a desk that has now disappeared; only a few drawers remain, which were used as storage for products, blank pharmacy labels, and other office items in this cellar.

Officine sign panel in painted wood from the 19th-20th century hinge: 1890-1920.

The sign is made of 2 reinforced wood panels at the back. There is a space between the 2 panels.

The sign features a superb art lettering entirely made freehand by a letter painter (superb contrasts of blue and brown, neat full and loose) 

Witness to the history of pharmacy and ancient orthopaedics: the bandagist shaping leather and frames for corsets and restraints, and the herbalist 1st class, a profession that has disappeared since the abolition of the diploma in 1941.
