General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use

The company CURIOSITAS SAS, operating under the commercial name CURIOSITAS, a simplified joint-stock company (Société par Actions Simplifiée) with a share capital of 7,000 Euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 830 373 411, having its registered office at 7, rue Ravignan, 75018 PARIS, France, and whose intra-Community VAT number is FR01830373411, operates in the sale of decorative items, books, cosmetics, stationery, entomology, taxidermy, artistic pieces, ready-to-wear, plants, and various other accessories, antiques, event organization, and exhibitions on the theme of natural, human, and artistic curiosities. Each of these activities may be carried out together or separately.

CURIOSITAS offers for retail sale, intended for consumers within the meaning of the law and jurisprudence (hereinafter "the Customers" or "the Customer"), products via the company's website, at www.curiositas.paris (hereinafter "the Site").

The purpose of these General Terms and Conditions is to define the rights and obligations of the Parties in the context of the Online Sale of Goods and Services offered for sale by CURIOSITAS to the Customer.

CURIOSITAS and the Customer (hereinafter "the Parties") agree that their relations shall be governed exclusively by this contract, to the exclusion of any condition previously available on the CURIOSITAS website.

CURIOSITAS reserves the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time by publishing a new version on the site. The applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale are those in force on the date of validation of the order by the Customer.

The Parties agree that photos of the Goods on sale on the site www.curiositas.paris have no contractual value.

Article 1. PRICES

Prices are indicated in euros and include the French VAT in force on the day of the order. Products will be invoiced at the rates in force at the time of order validation, subject to availability. CURIOSITAS reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but commits to applying the rates in force indicated at the time of order validation. Prices do not include shipping costs, which are borne by the Customer and specified upon validation of the order.

Article 2. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY

The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, CURIOSITAS cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may occur in this presentation. CURIOSITAS undertakes to honor orders received within the limit of available stocks. In the event of product unavailability, CURIOSITAS undertakes to contact the Customer by email or telephone. The Customer will be refunded for the unavailable item or for the entire order if the Customer wishes to cancel it. Products remain the property of CURIOSITAS until full payment of the transaction.

Article 3. CUSTOMER ACCOUNT

Before placing their first order, the Customer must create a customer account by filling in the following fields: title, last name, first name, delivery address, billing address (if different from the delivery address), email address, and telephone number. The Customer will also choose a password allowing access to their account.

Article 4. THE ORDER

Prior to any transaction, the Customer undertakes to read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Any validation of an order implies express acceptance of the conditions in force at the time of validation. Orders will only be taken into account after payment acceptance and constitute acceptance of the prices and descriptions of products available for sale. CURIOSITAS will acknowledge receipt of the order by sending an electronic mail. CURIOSITAS reserves the right to cancel any order from a Customer with whom a dispute exists regarding a previous order. In the event of an incorrect address, default of payment, or other issue related to the user's account, CURIOSITAS reserves the right to block the Customer's order until the problem is resolved.

Article 5. PAYMENT

Payment is made in euros. Full payment is due at the time of order. The Customer pays for their order by credit/debit card: Visa, EuroCard-Mastercard. Payment by bank card is 100% secure via CIC's 3D Secure protocol. Card details are encrypted. In accordance with Article L. 132-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code, the commitment to pay given by means of a payment card is irrevocable. By providing their card information, the Customer authorizes CURIOSITAS to debit their payment card for the amount corresponding to the order price. To this end, the Customer confirms that they are the cardholder and that the name appearing on the card is indeed theirs. The Customer communicates the sixteen digits and expiry date of their card, as well as the visual cryptogram numbers if applicable. If the debit of the order price proves impossible, the Online Sale shall be immediately terminated by operation of law and the Order cancelled. To combat fraud, CURIOSITAS has implemented a control system giving it the right to cancel an order. The Customer receives an electronic acknowledgement of receipt confirming the Order without delay.

Article 6. DELIVERY

Products are delivered to Metropolitan France, Overseas Territories, and certain European countries: Germany, Belgium, Mainland Spain, United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Portugal, Netherlands, Austria, Italy. For certain countries, the Customer will have only one shipping method and cannot select other carriers. Products are sent to the delivery address provided during the ordering process. In the event of an error in the address, CURIOSITAS cannot be held responsible if the products cannot be delivered.

Article 7. DELIVERY TIMES

Orders will be dispatched between 3 and 10 business days after order validation. These times are provided for information purposes only. CURIOSITAS undertakes to inform the Customer by email when their parcel is dispatched. CURIOSITAS is in no way responsible for non-compliance with delivery times and cannot be held liable for delays or loss of shipments.

Article 8. DELIVERY METHODS AND COSTS

A. Colissimo with signature required – La Poste service:

2 to 6 days transit time: this delivery time starts upon handing over the parcel to La Poste – times provided for information purposes only.

Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight of the parcel and the final destination.

B. In-store pickup:

Orders can also be picked up at CURIOSITAS, 7 rue Ravignan, 75018 PARIS (Metro Abbesses – Line 12). As with shipped orders, the estimated preparation time is 3 to 10 business days.

The Customer will be notified by email when the order is ready for pickup. This collection method is free of charge, meaning the Customer only pays the price of the ordered items and no shipping fees.

Article 9. REFUNDS AND RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

All products ordered on www.curiositas.paris can be refunded, but not exchanged.

According to Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, starting from receipt of the parcel by the consumer or a third party other than the carrier, the Customer has a period of 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal and request a refund by returning the item(s) concerned. If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.

The refund includes the price of the purchased item(s) and standard initial shipping costs.

To return an item, the Customer must follow these steps:

• Send an email to contact@curiositas.paris.

• Wait for a return slip, which will be sent by email within 3 business days.

• Send the products (via tracked Colissimo with signature required) in their original packaging (if sent packaged) to: CURIOSITAS, 7, rue Ravignan, 75018 PARIS, France, or drop them off at the shop, accompanied by the return slip.

No refund will be processed if the return slip is not included with the returned item(s).

Products must be returned to CURIOSITAS within a maximum of 14 days after notifying withdrawal. Return shipping costs are at the Customer's expense. The Customer is responsible for risks associated with returning goods and is advised to declare the merchandise value and take out insurance covering these risks.

The returned item must:

• Be in brand new condition,

• Retain all original tags.

Any returned item that is damaged, soiled, or opened/removed from its original packaging will neither be accepted nor refunded.

CURIOSITAS SAS will refund the Customer within a maximum of 14 days from the date the Customer requested the refund, provided the item(s) have been received by CURIOSITAS SAS. The refund will be credited directly to the payment card account used for the transaction via the MONETICO application. Refunds cannot be claimed in cash or by cheque.

If a refund is requested for the entire order, the Customer will receive a full refund of all amounts paid to CURIOSITAS, including initial delivery fees. If the withdrawal covers only part of an order, initial delivery fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

Article 10. IMPORTATION OF ANIMAL OR PLANT SPECIES

The buyer is IMPERATIVELY required to verify the legal feasibility of importing any natural species into their country of destination.

CURIOSITAS disclaims any responsibility in the event of customs seizure of a product purchased on the site.

Article 11. LEGAL INFORMATION - DATA PRIVACY (CNIL)

Providing personal information collected for distance selling purposes is mandatory, as this information is essential for order processing, delivery, invoicing, and warranty contracts. Failure to provide information results in non-validation of the order. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés), the processing of personal data relating to customers has been declared to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) under registration number 22116464.

Under Article 34 of the Act of January 6, 1978, the Customer has a right to access, modify, rectify, and delete data concerning them, which may be exercised directly with CURIOSITAS. Furthermore, CURIOSITAS undertakes not to disclose or sell customer contact details to third parties.

Article 12. RECYCLING AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

Eco-contribution and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

In accordance with Article L. 541-10-13 of the French Environmental Code, CURIOSITAS SAS is registered in the national register of market entrants under the following Unique Identifier (IDU): 50099869, issued by ADEME via the eco-organization Citeo.

This identifier guarantees that CURIOSITAS SAS fulfills its legal obligations regarding the financing of sorting, collection, and recycling for all of its household shipping packaging.
