Product of the Maison Pointet & Girard, Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals. Headquarters at 30, rue des Francs-Bourgeois (Paris); factory in Villeneuve-la-Garenne.
Beautiful original paper label illustrated with exhibition medals (including Turin 1911) and the monogram "PG" dated 1891. Handwritten notes from the period in ink. Very beautiful condition.
It comes from the old cellar-laboratory of a Parisian pharmacy. The bottles had not been moved from the shelves since the late 1950s. The cellar had served as a medical analysis laboratory and a laboratory for the pharmacy’s compounded preparations from 1900 until around 1950.
