This microscope was sold from the late 19th century until the 1920s.
There is a handwritten inscription under the case dated 7 or 8 May 1853, written in pen.
It comes in its wooden case, which contains 1 brass clamp and 2 preparation slides, one of which is marked “male flea”.
Folded height: approximately 15.5 cm
Unfolded height: approximately 17 cm
Focusing is achieved by sliding the optical tube.
In good condition, the microscope is in its wooden case, but one hook on the outside is missing for closing.
Box dimensions: 16 x 6 x 5.5 cm
