Species: Tragelaphus strepsiceros antelope from South Africa
The great Koudou, Tragelaphus Strepsiceros, is an African mammal of the Bovidae family. This large antelope lives mainly in Chad's mountainous setting in Sudan and at low altitude in East Africa to South Africa.
This species is not threatened and does not appear on the CITES list of the Washington Convention.
The horns come either from livestock farms (these antelopes are raised for their meats, skins like ours beef), or from regulations in the herds of the South African reserves, or from horns found in nature.
Height: 79/80cm average with base
All horn bones are different in size, color etc. They are natural specimens with their own defects.
