Discovered in the 18th century, it was named after the Latin caelestis, meaning “celestial,” in homage to its ethereal hue, which invites contemplation and serenity.

Rare and highly sought after in the form of a geode.

Be careful to protect it from water, which alters it: it dissolves or cracks on contact!

Presented on a black metal base, it can be removed from it and easily held in the hand.
