Jackalope - Horned Hare

Decorative ceramic object

Handmade and fired in their kiln by Bello Cabinet

The jackalope is an imaginary animal from American folklore, a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope. It is usually depicted as a hare with antlers. Seen as a real species until the 18th century.

Legend has it that it is very shy and difficult to observe, and that no live specimen has ever been caught.

It is likely that the legend of jackalopes comes from rabbits suffering from a papillomavirus that causes blackish elongated tumours on the animal's body, sometimes in the shape of horns on their head.

So we can say they exist, right?

Due to the fragility of the horns, there is no possibility of shipping: pick up in store only
