Victorian Gothic Posters - Madame Talbot: whiskey Jack
There are just so many types of whiskey: malt, grain, single malt, blended malt, blended, cask strength and single cask - I just knew I had to make a booze poster.
My own favorite is of course, good old Irish whiskey - I will never turn down a shot of amber warmth, alchemy in a bottle, the elixir of gods!
Classic Irish whiskey is an incredibly smooth, flavorful, melt in your mouth whiskey. Irish whiskey specifically owes its creaminess to a specialty barleycorn malt that takes on a crystalline appearance after a light toasting. Yummy!
I pondered the spelling of whiskey or whisky and chose the WHISKEY spelling.
From my research, I found out that the spelling for whisky without the "e" is used primarily in Canada, Japan, Scotland, England, and Wales.
The spelling of whiskey with the "e" is more common in Ireland and the United States. I am partial to Ireland (my husband is part Irish) and here we are, in the United States so whiskey with an "e" it is.
Wouldn't this poster look great over your own private bar?
This poster is 17 inches wide by 22 inches high, generous black ink lushly printed on parchment stock.
The delivery is made in a special square tube sent by post, the price is included in the price of the shipment.
