His work is inspired by the custom of nineteenth-century hair funerary reliquaries, mourning memories.
Indeed, it was common from the 19th century until the First World War to keep a strand of hair from the deceased as a souvenir. The practices of the time were to show mourning in contrast to today.
Handcrafted frame made according to traditional techniques.
