Eau vulnéraire, also known as eau d'arquebusade (harquebusier water), is an officinal tincture reputed to heal wounds. (Vulnerary: healing wounds).
Originally, in the 16th century, this remedy was used to treat wounds caused by harquebuses, whose wounds were difficult to heal.
