Dr. Roux discovered the antidiphtheria serum, and directed the Pasteur Institute which he had co-founded with Pasteur, of which he was a close collaborator.
It contains a sterilizable syringe for the diphtheria serum and instructions for use.
This syringe has graduations on the metal body.
The syringe is in its case with the purple felt interior.
