“Génial” bicycle license plate
Brass plate from the 1920s-1930s
This refers to the Génial company, which originally manufactured bicycle frames in the early 20th century.
It later merged with another company, Lucifer (the light bearer), which manufactured bicycle lights, giving rise to the Génial Lucifer bicycle brand, which existed until the 1960s and even had a team in the Tour de France.
