For the treatment of Pott’s disease (a form of bony tuberculosis that affects the vertebrae), Calot develops a method of regular punctures and injections, consisting in emptying the tubercular abscess by means of the "Calot aspirator"and to inject iodiform creosote oil or camphor naphtol.

The glass cylinder of the syringe is tightened in a chromed metal frame graduated with a 2-way tap system.

Not functional.

Length 15cm.

More rare and difficult to find than Dr Potain’s vacuums or even Dr Dieulafoy’s vacuums.
