Antique black polished marble obelisk

Antique black polished marble obelisk from the 19th century.

Beautiful black marble obelisk of those that once adorned our homes in the nineteenth century, to divert into a book end in a library.

I think it was broken and then repaired because there is a crack at the base of the obelisk above the square.

There is a small chip on the base and another in a corner.

It weighs really heavy: 8kg
