The jar and its lid are made of mouth-blown glass, there is still a trace of the pontil of the cane under the jar.
Period: 19th century.
These jars in the shape of a candy box with a lid were rarer and one can hardly find them today, they were often put forward to show the opulence of the pharmacist's shop.
