Small first aid kit for healing snake bites- Circa 1900
Still in its original box with its beautiful illustrations and still containing its instructions, the kit is complete, which is rare to find!
Made by a pharmacist from Limoges, Michel LEGROS.
It contains an old syringe out of glass and chromed metal at the end of the XIXth, beginning of the XXth century: the syringe of PRAVAZ.
This syringe has a piston with graduations and a glass body.
A graduated screw thread allows to adjust its stroke and to measure the quantity of liquid injected. The rubberized pad inside the glass body provides a tight seal.
The syringe is in its small case with a purple padded fabric interior. Two needles with their chrome tips are also inside. The compartment for the needles to be inserted is behind the padded part of the lid, just pull on the tape to discover it.
There is always the original dose of vaccine in its ampoule .
