Le Thermogène - Sealed box

Invented at the beginning of the 20th century by the Belgian pharmacist Vandenbroeck and especially popularized by the famous poster with the fire-eating pierrot made by Leonetto Cappiello in 1907 that we see here on the box.

The Thermogen is wadding impregnated with pili-pili pepper and dyed red with eosin which distributes heat to the place where it is affixed.

Comes from a stock of a pharmacy of the Belgian Army Health Service.

Unopened box in good condition.
