Common Balanus on wooden pedestal

The Common Balanus, Balanus perforatus, is a crustacean found in the coastal areas of the warm temperate regions of the Atlantic Ocean.

She lives on rocks and other rigid supports in the lower half of the foreshore. It is also based on several animal species, including large crustaceans such as crabs, spiders, etc ... and the hulls of ships and buoys at sea.
